Nordic Open 2010

This Easter will see the 22nd Nordic Open take place in its traditional format and hosted right in the centre of Copenhagen at the fabulous Scandic Copenhagen hotel.

We are guaranteeing eight seats in to this prestigious event each worth €800. You can buy in directly or qualify from as little as €5.50 through our daily satellites at 6 and 10pm, with one seat guaranteed per €44 worth of entries in our weekly final each Monday at 9pm.

The winning player in each weekly €44 final will win a seat worth €800 for the Nordic Open 2010. This does not include accommodation, travel arrangements or spending money, only the buy in to the actual event. Winning players will be contacted by the Marketing team with further details.
If a player does not wish to compete in the Championship flight then the seat can be used in the advanced or intermediate flight. However, there will be no monetary offer (for any difference in buy in) if a player chooses a lower entry event.
The seat is non transferable. If a player cannot make the tournament for whatever reason the seat will be awarded to another player at management’s discretion.
Only one seat can be won per player per tournament.
Players arriving more than 2 minutes after the scheduled start time of the online tournament round will forfeit their match.
By entering any tournament players agree that their real names, aliases and images can be used for promotional purposes.
Should a player win a seat to the Nordic Open, they will be required to wear the operator's apparel if it is provided to them whilst in and around the tournament venue.
Management reserve the unfettered right to exclude or otherwise remove players from participation in the promotion, if the circumstances warrant such exclusion in the sole opinion of management.

Pro Bot Leaderboard Terms and Conditions

One seat can be won in each qualifying period based on the number of consecutive wins against Probot. There are 16 qualifying periods in total and sixteen seats to be given to the respective weekly finals.
There are 8 periods on Tuesdays from 25th January to March 22nd 2010 and eight periods on Thursdays between 25th January to March 22nd 2010. The qualifying period is 00.00 to 23:59 GMT on those 16 days.
Only matchplay backgammon games against Probot count, minimum £2.50 stake.
In the event of a tie, the player who has staked the most in qualifying games against Probot on that day will be declared the winner.

Bot’lestar Galactica

The bots are back and ready to take on the Human Civilisation in a new series of Bot'lestar Galactica!

There are 3 species of Bot to watch out for; Rookiebot, AmateurBot and the most feared and technologically advanced bot, ‘ProBot’!

Battle it out against the Bots on Multiplayer Blackjack, Dominoes, Backgammon, Poker Dice, Gin Rummy, Poker and our latest game Briscola, to earn ranking points and climb the leaderboard.

Rules

We’ve assigned a value to each of our games. For every £1 you spend playing against the Bots, you’ll earn 1 point multiplied by the game value below. So for example, if you stake £100 on Poker Dice, you will earn 200 points. The person with the most points each week will win the top prize of £100!

All monetary payments will be site credit and made within two working days of completion of the promotion.
Games that count towards the promotions are Backgammon (excluding Moneyplay Backgammon), Multiplayer Blackjack (excluding Multiplayer PursePlay Blackjack), Briscola, Dominoes, Gin Rummy, Poker Dice and both forms of Poker.
The winners are calculated on a points system. 1 point is awarded for every £1 staked against a bot multiplied by the game factor. E.g £100 staked on Blackjack = 200 points.
Bots you can play against that count towards the promotion are Rookiebot, AmateurBot and ProBot.

Our new Loyalty Scheme explained......

Our Loyalty Scheme is designed to reward you each time you play a cash-game on our site. It's quite simple - for every game that you play for real money, we award you loyalty points. You only need to play cash games to the value of 2500 Loyalty Points to reach our first Bronze level.
For all Multiplayer games, 50 points are awarded for every £1 (or currency equivalent) spent.

Note: exceptions apply - no loyalty points are awarded in relation to wagering activity on Pro Blackjack, Jacks or Better, Deuces Wild, Pyramid, Panic and Klondike Solitaire.

The more you play, the more you earn. At the end of each week we look at how many points you carried over from the previous week, how many you have earned that week and what loyalty level you have reached. Amazingly, we then rebate to you (pay you out) between 0.15% and 1% of all your matched stakes back to your account which needs wagering only once (1x) before it can be cashed out as cash!

Below is an example based on Wicked Willie Slots/Multi-Line Slots gameplay:

So, for example, let's imagine you carried over 25,000 points from last week (when you were at the 0.35% rebate level) and played cash games to the tune of £250 this week (e.g. 25 games at £10 stakes each). This generated 25,000 more points and gives you a total on the Sunday night of 50,000. This now puts you in the silver category with a rebate level of 0.4%. We then pay you back £1.00 for your £250 of matched stakes (£250 x 0.4%), no questions asked! And it doesn't matter whether you won or lost any of the 20 or so games you played...

Note, though, that on Sunday night, we also deduct 15% from your total points balance rewarding those who maintain or improve on their loyalty level the following week. So in this example, we would take away 7,500 points on Sunday night, leaving you a total of 42,500 to carry over into the next week. You would only need to play £75 of cash games to stay in the silver level that week - or more if you wanted to move up the rankings towards the magic Gold level.

Please note that the maximum payout per person per week is £125 (or currency equivalent).
